During the Community Narratives phase, the County and our embedded consultant, Somos Group, will be working closely with the many stakeholders of Marina Del Rey and broader constituents of LA County on outreach, stakeholder interviews and surveys. During the Choices phase of the project, we will share technical reports and studies that outline the potential for growth, enhancement and redevelopment of Marina Del Rey. This existing conditions report will set the baseline for future studies and ideas we hope to generate with you through continued outreach and community co-design. Our design process will be framed by our guiding principles, learn more here.

During the Choices phase of the project, we will share multiple scenarios and options for how Marina Del Rey can grow over time with ideas including habitat, housing, retail options, mobility/connectivity, water quality improvement, climate change mitigation, parking solutions and transportation. A final scenario will be selected and developed into a Specific Plan and studied through an EIR process (Environmental Impact Report)
